Sudipta Mallick — Artist Biography

Sudipta Mallick is a multidisciplinary artist with over three decades of experience working across painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Born in Jessore, Bangladesh, he developed an early passion for visual expression that later led him to complete a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Chittagong.

Throughout his career, Mallick has explored a wide range of mediums including acrylic and oil painting, wood carving, clay and bronze sculpture, and large-scale installations. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and international exhibitions, including participation in the Asian Art Biennale and the National Art Exhibition of Bangladesh.

Influenced by nature, human experience, and the relationship between form and color, his abstract compositions often feature organic shapes and vibrant palettes that evoke movement, emotion, and a sense of freedom.

Now based in Toronto, Canada, Mallick continues to develop his artistic practice, bringing more than thirty years of technical mastery and creative exploration to new audiences.
